|This distinctive logo was inspired by the lighthouse which stands as a beacon for those out on the open water. The rays extending from the center Fresnel lens represents the sixteen points of the compass. The bottom two rays symbolize the lighthouse. The logo was designed by Brad Woodworth of Woodworth Associates, Portland, Maine. More than 250 logos use the generic lighthouse, a fact which makes this new logo so creative.|
